Sinclair House School opened in the heart of Fulham in 1989 as a co-educational Preparatory school with a Montessori Nursery. We provide a strong, well-rounded education that is based on a methodology that promotes academic excellence and develops strong minded children, who are inspired to achieve their full potential.
At Sinclair House School, we provide a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment for our children; an environment where the children feel secure, motivated, engaged and happy.

Through the teaching of our curriculum and the array of extra-curricular activities available at Sinclair House School, we aim to ‘inspire’ our children. We encourage our children to have the confidence to explore the curiosities from their learning and want them to develop their own passions whilst with us.
Ensuring pupil progress is a high priority to us at Sinclair House School. We view the ‘challenge’ element to learning and development as both an empowering aspect to their school life but also essential to pupil progression. The children are consistently provided with opportunities for growth and success, in addition to the important development of their resilience and autonomy.
Our inspirational and challenging environment leads to a culture of ‘achievement’ across school life and our children leave us proud of their successes, confident in who they are and excited for what they will become.

ADMISSIONS
POLICY
We are a non-selective school for entry into Reception and places are offered based on date of registration.
Due to the high demand for places, we recommend that you register your child at least 2 years prior to their date of entry to confirm your interest.
Offers for occasional places are made subject to availability and upon successful completion of a taster day, receipt of a child’s most recent school report and a satisfactory confidential report from the child's previous school.

Academic
Achievement
Every child at Sinclair House School has the potential to achieve success. This view is embedded within our teaching and reflected in both our continuous pupil progress analysis and our excellent academic results.
We prepare our children for the 11+ examinations and our children successfully gain places at a whole range of excellent secondary schools.
Our recent 2018 cohort of 11+ students achieved a 100% pass rate in their examinations for their first choice of Senior Schools.

SHS is such a great school, full of teachers who are nice and look after you. Our awesome Principal is always nice to us. I really like the house Point system, House Captains, Head Boy and Girl as well as the Chance Cards as we don’t have these in France.
When I think back to how I did not know any English when I arrived, but now I know how to speak English, I would like to say thank you to all the staff.
