EXTENDING THE CLASSROOM OUTDOORS
Within the Montessori philosophy, the outdoor environment is a natural extension of the classroom.
Nursery pupils make use of various outdoor environments to build on their classroom knowledge through sensorial experiences of nature, the seasons and interactions with the natural world.
CHILD-LED LEARNING & DISCOVERY
In a Montessori environment, the children, not the adults are the focus of the classroom.
Our Montessori Directresses guide children with materials, but children learn through their own work within a prepared environment. Within child-led learning, teachers note developmental milestones and guide the children in new directions according to their level of work.

NEW DAYCARE OFFERING
Our Daycare space is designed to be a calm, peaceful and secure setting where the children can play, rest and explore.
The room is equipped with a range of toys and other learning materials to help children investigate and explore the world around around them.

SENSORY PLAY IN THE SUNSHINE
The children have loved playing outside in the sunshine this week after all the rainy weather recently. We have been watering our plants and doing lots of gardening, as well as a lot of messy and sensory play in the sun!

MY MONTESSORI CHILD
We use the educational technology "My Montessori Child" across our Nursery. This enables teachers to record live observations of children's activities and integrates those with reporting frameworks, teaching plans and photos, giving parents continual updates on progress and learning development.
